The computer I’m currently using is the 13-inch, 2011 Late model of the Macbook Pro, which has been 10 years since I bought it.
I bought it when I got a job and saved money and could afford it in a situation where I wanted a Mac from that time but I couldn’t buy it because I didn’t have enough money. Ten years have passed since then, and I never thought that I would continue to use it even now. I feel that it has deteriorated in places and lacks in performance, but it is not completely broken, and even if I buy a new one, an attractive machine does not come out, so I will continue to use it. I want to go.
Regarding the current situation of Macbook, the hard disk is SSD, the memory is 16GB, the OS is the latest High Sierra on this machine, upgrade as much as possible, install Windows 10 with Boot Camp, work as a creator on Mac, usually on Windows I’ve been using it properly for browsing the Internet etc.
In the process of doing so, various problems have occurred, and now the battery has far exceeded the replacement time, and the touchpad part swells due to expansion, the touchpad response is strange, and it can not be clicked properly. It is in a state. Also, the keyboard is inconvenient to use because the cursor key “↓” is unresponsive.
In the meantime, I often want to buy a new machine, but I think that I have completely attached to this Macbook, or that I have reached the stage of completion in terms of design. In my opinion, “this is enough” and “so far”, I’m not so attracted to the latest Macbook, which has a complete 10-year gap in performance and has evolved slim in design. There is something like “I think it’s okay”, and I’m afraid that I may not be able to keep up with evolution as I get older, and “I want to make videos” “I want to make music” “I want to draw pictures” “Analog” There are still many things that can be done with this machine, such as “I want to convert materials into digital data,” and there are many things left unfinished, so I will do my best with this machine for the time being.
