Recently, there is audio that appears frequently on the side of PC and TV in the image of this blog, but I have never made it a single article so I will write this as an opportunity.
I currently have two sets of INTEC 185 series, which are Onkyo’s high components, and I use one as a speaker for a personal computer and the other as a speaker for a TV. This component is an audio of a genre such as a high component that emphasizes sound quality and is smaller than the mini mini component of the bubble era that appeared in the mid 90’s, the width of the amplifier is compact with 185 mm, one cassette deck is enough, and the next It can be said that it is a component that was a hit in line with the times when MD, which is a generational media, began to spread. Starting with this, Onkyo products include the 205 series, which has a full lineup, the 275 series, which has a higher quality, and the FR series and high component series, which integrate CD / MD in the disc era for both playback and recording. It will be expanded.
This 185 series can be used only with an “amplifier / CD tuner”, but with the addition of an “MD deck” and “cassette deck”, the 2-box style component style reminds me of Sony’s Pixy MHC-P313 that I had before. Also, the component I bought after that Pixy was ONKYO’s FR-X7A, so I got the 185 series from those edges. One is a used item that was sold at the auction, and the other is an unused item that was also sold at the auction.
It’s almost 30 years ago, but the sound quality is good, it’s easy to obtain, and there are plenty of sites that explain how to repair the 185, so after the radio cassette player, these components are also available. I thought it was the perfect model for me, who I wanted. Nowadays, even CDs are a thing of the past, and people are listening to music on video sites and subscriptions on the Internet, and often use the “LINE” function rather than CDs / radios / cassettes.
Since the speakers of the personal computer and the speaker of the TV are powerless, INTEC 185 came to the forefront as a candidate while I was thinking of collecting bubble components and high components around here after the bubble radio cassette player collection was completed. I can say.
I’m still not familiar with audiophiles, and I don’t have the knowledge and ability to repair, so I would like to master the effective use of accessories such as speaker placement and insulators. Also, I would like to collect models from other manufacturers that are of interest and review them each time.
